It's best to keep track of the location of any nearby Titanosaurus, in case it needs to be redirected from settlements. Seemingly a "neutral party", Titanosaurus, in self-defense, will even kill other herbivores in the wild caught in its crossfire. Even when tamed, they cannot truly be conquered, choosing a death by starvation rather than spending life in captivity. If attacked, it will turn into a fearsome and deadly foe to defend itself even its weakest attacks cause phenomenal damage that nothing, including tek gear, can withstand for long. So long as Titanosaurus is not attacked, it will not harm anybody. However, their wandering nature causes them to easily deforest an area, which is a mixed blessing. Even if approached by a survivor on a mount, Titanosaurus is content with roaming the land in search of food. The Titanosaur is a fairly peaceful creature. The dynamics of how it exists on the ARK in the wild is unlike every other natural creature. Although the Titanosaur can be domesticated, it's believed the process causes the creature to slowly starve to death from its subsequent refusal to eat. You'll hardly see a Titanosaurus with just a saddle and a rider: its immense size can effectively carry a fortress, defensive emplacements, along with a small zoo. If ever a creature were too big, it would be Titanosaurus. Titanosaurus eats constantly, which certainly helps recover health quickly, even after fighting off numerous carnivores such as Giganotosaurus. This is probably because they aggressively feed off any and all plants they can find. While most Sauropods ignore non-hostile creatures, Titanosaurs take issue with creatures invading its personal space. They often inadvertently crush nearby creatures underfoot with every step they take. In addition, Titanosaurus seems outright immune to any sort of narcotic effects. Essentially a walking mountain, it is an absolutely enormous Sauropod which has developed armored plates of bone protrusions all over its body.īetween these plates and its unparalleled size, Titanosaurus is extremely difficult to put down. Unlike their normal counterparts, Tek Creatures drop Electronics, Element Dust, Oil, and Scrap Metal.Today I witnessed an unforgettable sight: the extremely rare Titanosaurus vagacastrum. Tek Creatures are the only types of their creature counterparts that will spawn in the Lunar biome of Genesis, making this a useful area to farm them as tames. If the bonus levels are as evenly distributed as possible, the tamed Tek Creature can have all of its base levels in each stat in the low 50's: a level average that often requires extensive super-breeding efforts in their normal counterparts to achieve. If you manage to complete the taming process at maximum efficiency, the level boost can result in a tame that is roughly 269 in level. Tek Creatures can only mate with other Tek Creatures and cannot mate with normal Creatures.Īlthough a max level of 180 (only 30 levels higher than the max level of 150 of the normal wild counterparts) may not seem like much of a difference initially, if you are lucky enough to find one, it is always a good idea to tame such a Tek Creature. They have a chance of 5% to spawn instead of their normal counterpart. on difficulty 5 (max level 150) they will spawn up to level 180. Tek Creatures spawn at a 20% higher level, i.e. Tek Creatures are a variant of normal Creatures that were added permanently as part of the Extinction Chronicles event (exceptions being the Tek Triceratops, which was released as part of Genesis, the Voidwyrm, which was released as part of Genesis: Part 2 and the Tek Giganotosaurus which is unobtainable unless using Console commands).
